WANTED: Two Who Deposited Fake Check, Withdrew $25k

DEDHAM, MA — A couple who deposited an altered check at the Dedham Bank of America is now wanted by police.

The Sept. 12 incident, which was just posted on Mass. Most Wanted by police, saw a woman with a fraudulent passport open an account at the Bank of America in West Roxbury. A $25,040 check was deposited at Bank of America in Dedham and all the funds were withdrawn at an ATM in Rhone Island.
