West Roxbury Man Killed in Dedham Car Incident

DEDHAM, MA — A West Roxbury man has died following a one-car crash in Dedham.

Rapo Seitaj, 35, was found mortally injured a short distance from his car in the vicinity of Eastern Avenue in Dedham before noon Friday, according to the Norfolk Country District Attorney's office. A preliminary investigation suggests that Seitaj, who was working as a pizza delivery driver at the time, stepped out of his vehicle without successfully putting the vehicle into park. He was transported to Norwood Hospital and was later pronounced dead, the DA's office said.

The crash is being investigated by the Dedham Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, and the Norfolk County District Attorney's office.

So far, there is no evidence that shows foul play or the involvement of another person.
