When is winter break? What other holidays do the students and teachers have? Here's a look at the winter season calendar.
DEDHAM, MA —The kids and teachers are psyched. Parents, maybe not so much. But there are a number of calendar dates to note where school is out and the kids run free from classes.
Here are some notable dates on the Dedham schools calendar this winter:
- Nov. 22 - Early release for Thanksgiving recess
- Nov. 23-24 - Thanksgiving break
- Dec. 7 - Early release day for professional development
- Dec. 22 - Early release day
- Dec. 25-29 - Winter break
- Jan. 1 - No school, New Year's Day
- Jan. 12 - Early release day for professional development
- Jan. 15 - No school, Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Feb. 19-23 - February break
