Winter Weather Likely to Hit Dedham

Dedham will likely receive its first dose of winter weather of the season on Monday and Tuesday.

Unseasonably warm temperatures have hit Dedham this winter. However, now is not the time to put away the hats and gloves because winter weather is likely heading towards the area.

Snow is in the forecast Monday night and Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. The exact accumulation was unclear, as the snow is expected to mix with rain Tuesday night.

  • Monday Night: Snow is likely, mainly after 2:00 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26 degrees with a 60 percent chance of precipitation.
  • Tuesday: Snow is likely to fall before noon, then it will turn to rain. High temperatures will reach to around 38 degrees. There is an 80 percent chance of precipitation.
  • Tuesday Night: There is a chance of rain before 3:00 a.m. There is also a chance of freezing rain between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy with a low of approximately 31 degrees and a 40 percent chance of precipitation.
