Woman Charged With Smuggling $29K In Suboxone Into Norfolk Correctional Center

A woman faces charges after allegedly trying to get $29,000 worth of Suboxone to her boyfriend in the Norfolk County Correctional Center.

DEDHAM, MA — A Boston woman faces charges after allegedly trying to smuggle $29,000 worth of Suboxone to her boyfriend in the Norfolk County Correctional Center in Dedham.

Teraja Sullivan, 25, was arrested on Aug. 23 and charged with possession of illegal drugs with intent to distribute, Norfolk Sheriff Michael Bellotti told the Boston Herald.

Police say a corrections officer was checking clothing Sullivan brought to the jail for her boyfriend when he allegedly found a bag inside a necktie with 119 Suboxone strips.

Sullivan was stopped right before she was about to leave the property and she was taken into custody after questioning.

Her boyfriend, whose name was not release, will also face charges.
