• Deerfield voters reject pair of overrides, one of two green energy articles (recorder.com) — Deerfield voters have rejected two tax overrides, blocking the South County Senior Center’s proposed move to Sunderland and turning down added EMS funding, while still approving the town’s FY27 budget. Residents also adopted a zero-emission vehicle purchasing policy but declined a stricter building energy code, and passed several capital purchases and bylaw tweaks that will shape town services and infrastructure.
