• Greenfield man seriously injured in South Deerfield motorcycle crash (recorder.com) — Emergency crews in South Deerfield responded Friday night to a serious motorcycle–car crash on Elm Street, where a Greenfield rider leaving Hotel Warren suffered injuries that led to a partial leg amputation. Deerfield police, South Deerfield firefighters, and South County EMS coordinated care, including a tourniquet before the rider was airlifted to Springfield, while officials urged residents to learn basic lifesaving first aid skills.
