A plan for Barber Reservation - Your Input Needed!

All Sherborn residents are invited to share their input at a public meeting Wednesday, May 14th, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room at Sherborn Town Hall. Town conservation and recreation groups are sponsoring the preparation of a management plan for Barber Reservation on  Western Ave. This nearly 200 acre reservation is the largest, most diverse and most often visited town owned parcel of conservation land.

Students from the Conway School of Landscape design in western MA will undertake a comprehensive resource inventory and consult with local professionals culminating in July in an ecology-based plan, and they would like to hear from the public. Topics such as habitat protection measures, opening up vistas, trail and signage improvements and designing a more appealing entrance will be discussed.
