Silverwood Organic Farm's 3rd Annual Farmapalooza Returns June 7 with 11 Bands, Local Food, Tractor Rides, and Family Fun

SHERBORN, MA - Eleven bands, local food vendors, tractor rides, antique John Deere tractors, and family-friendly activities will fill the fields of Silverwood Organic Farm on Sunday, June 7, as Farmapalooza returns for its third annual celebration of music, farming, and community.

Set against the backdrop of Silverwood's certified organic farmland, historic red barn, and high-peak event tent, Farmapalooza has quickly become a favorite early-summer tradition for local families. What began as a small farm music festival has grown into a community-wide event that showcases local talent, agriculture, small businesses, and nonprofits while providing an afternoon of outdoor fun for all ages.

This year's festival features its largest and most diverse musical lineup yet. Parking and admission open at noon, giving visitors time to grab lunch and explore the vendors before the music begins. The afternoon kicks off at 12:30 with an energetic jazz performance featuring beloved local musician and educator Tom Duprey on trumpet and his band, Postage Due. Throughout the afternoon, visitors can enjoy performances from TBD the Band, School of Rock, Jonathan, Manufractured, Rebel Beats, Sci-Fi the Mastermind, Ben Ryan & George, Ian Ostberg, Jackie & the Reluctants, and Dover Demons, who will close the festival with a set of classic rock favorites. Spanning jazz, classic rock, country, heavy metal, pop, rap, folk, and alternative music, the lineup offers something for every generation and musical taste.

"One of the things that makes Farmapalooza special is seeing so many different parts of our community come together in one place," said farm owner Lisa Hodson-Walker. "It is truly a music and farm festival for all ages. You'll see little kids climbing onto tractor rides, families enjoying local food, musicians performing throughout the afternoon, and neighbors gathering to spend time together on the farm. It captures everything we love about this community."

Beyond the music, Farmapalooza offers a wide variety of family-friendly activities. Visitors can take tractor rides through the farm fields, explore a display of antique John Deere tractors spanning nearly a century of agricultural history, enjoy face painting, create friendship bracelets, plant seeds to take home, participate in farm-themed arts and crafts, and challenge friends to lawn games spread throughout the property. Farmgirl.Foodie, a Boston-based food and lifestyle content creator who grew up on the farm, will also be on hand with giveaways, samples, and coupons from some of her favorite brands.

Food and drink vendors will showcase a variety of local flavors throughout the afternoon. Guests can enjoy slow-braised tacos and bowls from Braised Food Truck, handmade mini pies from Big Little Pies, locally crafted ice cream from Eastleigh Farm's ice cream truck, and gourmet Italian lasagna from Pinci Foods Lasagneria, known for its fresh organic pasta, authentic Italian recipes, and high-quality ingredients. Crafted Beer & Wine of Holliston will offer a carefully curated selection of craft beverages, while Salty Mamina will feature its small-batch garlic seasonings inspired by family Italian recipes.

The event will also highlight several local businesses and farms. Sherborn's Good As New Shop, a beloved community institution since 1962, will bring a collection of clothing, jewelry, household goods, and unique finds. Fellow local farm, Micro Cultivations Craft Farm, will showcase its specialty microgreens grown using sustainable, low-impact farming methods. Natick Organic Farm, another well-known local agricultural organization, will also be participating in the festivities.

Set among Silverwood's rolling fields and open farmland, Farmapalooza celebrates the rich agricultural heritage of the region while creating a space where neighbors can gather, local musicians can perform, small businesses can connect with the community, and visitors can experience the beauty of a working farm.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children and includes access to all live music performances, tractor rides, lawn games, arts and crafts, and family activities. Food, beverages, and vendor purchases are available separately.

Farmapalooza will take place rain or shine on Sunday, June 7, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Silverwood Organic Farm, 195 Western Avenue in Sherborn.
