Charles River School International Pot Luck Dinner
Parents meet at The Charles River School for their second International Pot Luck Dinner.
The Charles River School kicked of the weekend on Friday night with their second International Pot Luck Dinner and gym activities.
Director of Admissions Mimi Earley said throughout the evening that kids would be playing games in the gym and eating their favorite foods from home at the school.
Earley said parents were encouraged to bring in dishes from their respective ethnicities.

Earley was very excited about the event, “It’s a chance for parents to meet.” She added that it’s a great way to unwind on a Friday evening, because no one has to cook after work and they can have fun with their children.
Bonnie Breschia, a Charles River School Board of Trustees member, whose daughter Sophie is a sixth grader at the school brought barbecued chicken and was happy to be there meeting parents.

Parents like Davey Bukhshi was organizing sporting events that evening, Bukhshi, a native of Zambia, taught the students the Zambian version of tag called the Lion’s Tail.
Earley was thrilled to see the turnout and talk about the school’s “global curriculum.”
