DSGS BACK ON TRACK WITH A WIN 4-0 AT HOME AGAINST WESTWOOD!

Today was a spectacular day for soccer. The temperatures reached a high of 77 degrees, it was sunny and bright.  DSGS played at home against Westwood.  Westwood came onto the field poised and ready for a win! DS came onto the field sizing up the days competition and immediately took to the field for the usual drills to get warmed up. There were many fans all around, it was another day of sports here at Dover-Sherborn HS! The first goal came with 26 minutes and 44 seconds left on regulation time, in the first half,  #22 (SO) Claire O'Callaghan came in strong and she was hungry for a goal all day for DSGS.  She was assisted by #2 (SO) Rachel Shone .  Second goal of the day came 14:58 left by #2 (SO) Rachel Shone.  Rachel was assisted by #8(FR) Zoe Oasis.  Third goal, 13:38 left, by Zoe Oasis and assisted by Rachel Shone.

In net for the first half was #10 (JR) Meghan Hall who recorded 7 saves.  

Second half, DSGS would only see one goal at 22:50 minutes left in regulation by a free kick taken by #7 *(SR) Captain Jackie Goudreault that rebounded off the GK and came back for a left footed shot near post for an overall 4-0 win for DS.

In net second half was #24 (SO) Sarah Williams who recorded 5 saves.  The goal tenders have a recorded 5 shut outs for the season.
