
DOVER, MA — A Newton man was taken to the hospital following a crash in Dover Sunday afternoon.
At about 4:33 p.m., police responded to a report of a car striking a bike on Farm Street near Junction Street. Police at the scene found an 85-year-old Newton man suffering from serious injuries after he collided on bicycle with a vehicle. The vehicle was operated by a 68-year-old woman from Medway, police said.
The bicyclist was treated by EMTs from Dover, Medfield, and Westwood before he was taken by MedFlight to Boston Medical Center. His condition is stable.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle was traveling southbound on Farm Street and the bicyclist traveling eastbound on Junction Street. Police say the biker failed to stop for a stop sign, entered the intersection, and collided with the front right side of the vehicle.
The incident is under police investigation.
