Erin's School of Dance Celebrated its 34th Annual Recital "A Summerthing!"

This year, local rock band "Rising Nation" kicked off the show at the Dover-Sherborn High School!  Students enjoyed performing dances to nostalgic favorites such as "Old Cape Cod" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy".  From the high energy hip hop dance "School's Out" to the dramatic elegance of "Summertime Sadness" and even a lively jazz number to "Surfin' USA", complete with surfboards; there was something for everyone!. All smiles were Dover residents front row, left to right - Bethany Petersen, Ava Kocher, Jennie Giasi and back row, left to right - Alison McGrath and Sophia Katz as they were photographed in their ballet costumes.  All five girls began dancing with Miss Erin at age three and one can readily see the passion they share that is dance.  Erin's School of Dance offers classes for preschoolers through teens.  Ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop and lyrical classes are always fun, welcoming and upbeat!  All classes are taught by Erin McCann.  Fall registration will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd from 4 - 8 p.m. at the dance school inside the Caryl Community Center, Dover.
