Everyone welcome to learn and play Go at the Sherborn Library

On most Saturdays from 10:30-12:30, the Sherborn Library GO club meets at the Library. The club welcomes new members of all ages. If you would like to learn how to play this simple but challenging game, or if you are familiar with the game but would like to play, please join us. The Library provides an instructor, the venue, and game boards.
Go is an ancient game that originated in China 2,500 years ago and boasts over 40 million players worldwide. The game is noted for simple rules and rich strategies and can be played by both children and adults. Well-known Go enthusiasts include Bill Gates, Robin Williams and Albert Einstein. Go engages both brain hemispheres and is reported to reduces stress, enhance concentration and improves memory.
