The Springdale Study Committee Seeks Community Input
The Springdale Study Committee is charged with making a recommendation for the future use of 46 Springdale Avenue, also known as Springdale Farm, a 27-acre property purchased by the Town of Dover in January 2015.
The Committee is in the process of studying numerous alternative uses, and welcomes input from the Dover community. Uses currently being studied range from open space and passive recreational use, to active recreational options, senior center and housing uses, as well as residential development of varying sizes.
If you want to get involved, please join us for Committee meetings, or feel free to reach out to members of the Committee. Information about the Committee, meeting schedules and our contact information, is available at: http://www.doverma.org/town-government/boards-committees/springdale-stud....

The next Committee meeting will be held at the Town Hall on May 28 at 7:00 PM in the Great Hall. Special guest E. Heidi Ricci, Senior Policy Analyst at Mass Audubon, will educate us on innovative ways that conservation and development can work together. This is an especially relevant presentation for the Springdale property, but may also serve as a guide for how we handle other properties in the future. We encourage all who can to join us.
We are also collecting email addresses for a community-wide survey. If you would like to receive our electronic survey, please submit your email to us by emailing our Chair at catherinewhite@doverma.org. Community input worksheets will also be available on the town website shortly.
