Linsky Re-Appointed as Chair of the House Committee on Post Audit and Oversight
Representative David Linsky announced today that he has been re-appointed as Chair of the House Committee on Post Audit and Oversight.

BOSTON - Representative David Linsky (D-Natick) announced today that House Speaker Robert A. DeLeo and the Democratic Caucus have re-appointed him as Chair of the House Committee on Post Audit and Oversight. The Committee serves the House of Representatives as an oversight body responsible for investigating systemic issues within state government.
Under his leadership last session, the Post Audit Committee conducted investigations on numerous issues, including energy rates, usage of GPS navigation systems by emergency response vehicles, RMV practices and procedures, gun sale background check loopholes, quasi-public transfers, utility pole relocation, and the Health Connector roll-out.
"I am honored that Speaker DeLeo and the Democratic Caucus have re-appointed me as Chairman of the House Committee on Post Audit and Oversight," said Representative Linsky. "I look forward to continue working with the Post Audit Bureau to address the issues relative to oversight, improving the efficiency of state agencies, and protecting the taxpayers of the Commonwealth."

The House Committee on Post Audit and Oversight is charged with overseeing the development and implementation of legislative auditing programs conducted by the Legislative Post Audit and Oversight Bureau with particular emphasis on performance auditing. As Chairman, Representative Linsky is responsible for directing the Post Audit Bureau to perform investigations, examinations, audits, and general oversight.
