Dover Foundation Holds Open Auditions

The Dover Foundation is pleased to announce open auditions for it's next production 'Pirates of Penzance starting January 10.

The Dover Foundation is excited to announce auditions for its upcoming spring 2016 musical Pirates of Penzance. The show will be directed by Bruce von Rosenvigne and produced by Wendy Bornstein. Michael Jones will be the Musical Director and Laurel Conrad will be choreographing. This comic operetta which combines great music, dance and physical comedy will cast about 30 adults from high school age upwards.

The show dates are Thursday May 5, Friday May 6 and Saturday May 7 at 2:00 and 8:00 pm. All performances will be at the Mudge Auditorium, Dover Sherborn High School, Dover, Mass.

Auditions will be held on Sunday January 10 from 5-8:00 pm and Tuesday January 12 from 7-9:00 pm at the Dover Town Hall, 5 Springdale Avenue, Dover, Mass. Auditions will be in a large group format and attendance is requested for the entire period. During this time auditionees will be asked to sing, dance and at the director’s discretion read selected dialogue. For those who prefer a part backstage or front of house, there are lots of opportunities to help too.
