Pine Hill 5K & Fun Run on September 28th!

The Pine Hill Elementary School Community School Association is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Pine Hill 5K & Fun Run—Sunday September 28th, 2014! The 5K will start at 8:30 am in Sherborn on Cemetery Lane; the kids’ Fun Run will begin at 9:30am. Runners and walkers are welcome at this fun community event.

The event is open to all runners and walkers, adults and children, at all levels of ability. Last year over 260 adults and children participated in the event. An 800-yard dash for children, games, music, face painting, balloon artist, a fire truck and other activities make the morning a fun family event.

Sponsored by the Pine Hill CSA, Paydiant of Newton and Old School Pizza of Wellesley, Newton and Needham, the race, through registration fees and donations, serves as an important fund-raiser for the Pine Hill CSA. The CSA provides high quality, enrichment programs to Pine Hill students, and organizes annual community events such as the Fall Luncheon for the Council on Aging and Honor Your Own to show appreciation for the first responders in Sherborn.

The Pine Hill Community School Association (CSA) is an alliance of parents, teachers, administrators and interested community residents. The mission of the Pine Hill CSA is to maximize parent and community involvement in the life of the Pine Hill School and to fund select community and school based programs that enrich the lives of our residents.
