Solo Traveling for Women at the Sherborn Library

Maureen White discusses everything women need to know for a successful solo trip.

On Thursday, September 25th at 7 p.m. the Sherborn Library Maureen White will facilitate a workshop focusing on solo traveling for women. She will discuss why you should consider traveling alone, the best practices for planning a trip, and tips for making the most of your time on the road. The discussion will be directed by the questions, concerns, and goals of the participants. Topics may include: why go solo, how fear holds us back, travel planning, how much is too much, budget, packing, and safety. This discussion is an opportunity to get practical advice and meet other women who want to see the world!

Maureen White believes that travel is a powerful way to learn about not only the world, but also about ourselves. She has worked in the fields of international education, experiential learning, and community building, and has visited over 30 different countries.
