Barbara Provest to Speak on Daylilies of Elm Bank

Barbara Provest, master
gardener and manager of the Daylily Garden at Elm Bank,

 will present a slideshow and talk on The
Daylilies of Elm Bank
on Wednesday,



April 30th at 7:30
PM at the Dover Library, Lower Level. The program is



sponsored by the Dover
Historical Society and the Chicatabot Garden Club.

Barbara  Provest is a Principal Master Gardener and
member of the New England Daylily



Society.   She is also a Dover Historical Society
Advisory Board member.  Her



 organic garden in Framingham is an American
Hemerocallis Society Display



Garden with over 1200
cultivars.    She is manager of the New
England Daylily



Society Display Garden at Elm
Bank in Wellesley, home of the Massachusetts



Horticultural Society, and
takes care of  more than 650 daylilies
there.  This garden



 is an American Hemerocallis Society Display
and Historic Garden with  well-labeled



historic and modern
daylilies.



 



A lecturer and daylily
photographer, she loves talking about and giving daylily tours.
