1. Zullo Gallery Community Reception With MHS Jazz Band

Zullo Gallery will hold a community reception to welcome and congratulate the Medfield High School Jazz Band who competed in the Mingus Festival in NYC. Stop in and congratulate the students, and hear them perform in small ensembles.
Pricing: An optional donation of $7.00 at the door is suggested.

2. Norwood Senior Prom 11th Annual Fashion Show
Where/When: , 245 Nichols St., Norwood; Fri., March 2, 7 p.m
Why Go: Senior students and faculty of Norwood High School will be modeling prom fashions by David’s Bridal, Richard Lewis Formal Wear and MW Tux of Norwood. Before and after the show there will be tables showcasing even more fashions, accessories, florists, hair and nail salons. A partial list of business participants includes A Bella Mia, Yelanna’s Beehive Florist, Beaumont Photography, Salon Rouge, and On the Edge Hair Design. Proceeds from the Fashion Show benefit the Post Prom Party.
Pricing: The cost of the event is $5.00 for students/seniors and $7.00 for adults in advance or $8.00 for students/seniors and $10.00 for adults at the door.
3. John Colvert To Perform at Perks Coffeehouse
Where/When: , 685 Washington St., Norwood; Fri., March 2, 8 p.m.
Why Go: Boston based Americana and Folk-Rock Singer, Guitarist and Songwriter John Colvert will perform at Perks Coffeehouse at 8:00 p.m.
Pricing: Free, open to all
4. Fourth Annual Winter Blues Charity Concert
Where/When: , 50 Peter Kristof Way, Medfield; Fri. March 2, 8 p.m. - midnight.
Why Go: The Fourth Annual Winter Blues Charity Concert featuring local cover band Route 109 and other musical guest will rock the to benefit Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. The night will feature $1 raffle tickets. Prizes include Bruins / Celtics / Sox tickets, gift certificates and more. Appetizers and cash bar.
Pricing: $20 tax-deductible admission.
5. Soup-er Family Fun Night Fundraiser at the Dover Library
Where/When: , 56 Dedham St., Dover; Sun. March 4, 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: The Friends of the Library are hosting their first ever Chili/Soup-off where chefs of all ages are invited to submit their hearty soup to the contest. Spend the evening tasting and voting on your favorite Chili/Soup provided by Captain Marden's, Chiara, Dover Cafe, Dover Market, Owens Poultry Farm,The Sherborn Inn, the Center for the Development of Children, Dover Nursery School, Precious Beginnings Preschool and several amateur chefs in town. The event will also include fun activities, a tile workshop area, a showcase of what's new at the library, as well as celebrate the recent recognition awarded to the library and its director.
