In this course, young women will learn effective self defense techniques and real, practical skills to help them de-escalate aggressive situations and to physically fend off an aggressor-who may even be a male acquaintance. Students will develop situational awareness, including how to identify the body language of someone who may be in danger. Skills will be derived from karate, jujitsu, and/or judo.

Each week, students will learn new strategies and review previous material. This course does not require uniforms. No experience is necessary.

This Women’s Self Defense Course is ideally suited for high school students, women entering college, college students, and recent graduates. To enroll or to receive more information, prospective students should contact Jim Cormier at 508.429.6688 or jim@cormierselfdefense.com.
