• Tavern on The Hill sold, closed, $1M condos planned in Easthampton, Holyoke (masslive.com) — A prominent Easthampton landmark, Tavern on The Hill at the Mount Tom overlook, has been sold and closed, with the building slated for demolition to make way for luxury condominiums on the Easthampton–Holyoke line. The new owners, who previously redeveloped the Notre Dame campus on Pleasant Street, expect million-dollar price tags to match the site’s sweeping views, ending the restaurant’s two-decade run. 
• Developers Script Next Chapter for Historic Schermerhorn's (businesswest.com) — Developers behind Holyoke’s revived Schermerhorn’s seafood restaurant are also reshaping the former Tasty Top site in Easthampton into a mixed-use complex that could include one or two new restaurants. With a nearby Greenfield Savings Bank branch already open, they’re eyeing a steakhouse and possibly another eatery across Route 10, signaling more dining options and investment along the Easthampton corridor.
