Board of Selectmen Appoint New Committee and Board Members
Selectmen appoint residents to Finance Committee and Planning Board.

The Board of Selectmen appointed residents to work as part of various boards Monday night, including the Finance Committee and Planning and Zoning Board.
Keith Graveline secured a seat on the Finance Committee and Wayne Benson became a full member of the Planning Board after serving as an alternate.
Keith Graveline, a five-year Easton resident was appointed to the Finance Committee. Graveline, who is a insurance and benefits consultant said he doesn't travel as much as he used to, and wanted to give back to the community.

Graveline is currently a member of the , which was appointed by the Board of Selectmen to study the effects of one less fire station in Easton as a result of budget cuts.
"I have time and ability to serve and that’s why I’m here," he said.

Wayne Benson moved from an alternate on the Planning and Zoning Board to a full-time member. Benson is an architect and lifetime resident of Easton. He said his main role on the Planning and Zoning Board is protecting Easton's character.
"Long term its going to be protecting the character of Easton and natural resources – smart development," he said.
Merideth Keach and David Mills were appointed as fencekeepers for Easton. Adrienne Edwards of the Department of Public Works was selected as a town employee representative to the Green Communities Committee.
The Selectmen also took on positions on various committees themselves.'s term was extended on the Human Rights commmittee. Ellen Barlow extended her terms on the Green Communities and Affordable Housing Trust Committees and Dan Murphy joined the Audit Committee.
An original version of this article said Kyla Bennett was reappointed to the Conservation Commission. The Board of Selectmen have not yet appointed anyone to the Conservation Commission. Patch regrets the error.
