A Full-Time Representative for a Full-Time Position

If I am elected, I intend to be available to hear your concerns and to be your voice at the State House.

When I began my campaign earlier this year, I was at first overwhelmed by the task of maintaining my law practice while campaigning at the level I knew was necessary to become your next State Representative. In order to devote my time and energy to earning your votes, I knew I would have to limit the time I spent at work, and make you, the 11th Plymouth District, my priority. Though campaign season is busy (and this summer, hot), it is perfect preparation for the even busier work that comes with the honor of serving as a representative.

With only a week and a half until the election, I have thought a lot about the reality of becoming your State Representative: the time and energy required to champion your interests on Beacon Hill will be demanding, and I want to make sure that I consistently do the best possible work I can on your behalf. For this reason, I plan on committing myself 100% to being your advocate. It is a public servant’s duty to enter into any office willing to sacrifice their time, energy, and work in order to fight for their constituents, and I plan on doing exactly that. I will take on the responsibility of this office as a new job - one that I know will be as challenging as it is rewarding.

The job as State Representative is not to be taken lightly. If elected, I know that I have a fiduciary responsibility to the taxpayers of the 11th Plymouth District to devote the time and energy to get the job done well. I intend to represent your voice completely by fully committing to the job.

I am lucky to call both Easton and Brockton my two “hometowns,” and the issues that face these communities are as vital to me as they are to you. I want to be your voice, because I am also a part of the conversation. My family and I are longtime members of this community, which makes me even more driven to devote myself to representing it. Like many of my prospective constituents, my roots here are deep and strong, and I truly believe that I can best advocate for all of our interests by making the office of State Representative my priority.

While I hope to become the voice of this district on Beacon Hill, it is your voice that I hope to hear when I get there. I want you to feel welcome enough to call me with your concerns and ideas, because once you give me the privilege of serving our shared community, I will always listen - and I plan on making the time to do so.
