At Your Service Now and Looking Forward to the Future
Mark Linde hopes to continue his lifetime of service and "Commitment to Community" with your vote on THURSDAY September 6th 2012. He is asking for your vote in the Democratic primary election.

Recently as I was out walking in both Easton and Brockton on the campaign trail I was asked many times WHY I am running? I gave a very simple answer, to help people. It's really as simple as that.
A few people wondered "what's the catch? Again I said "it's simple, that's what I was taught by my parents. From my high school days when I led a blood drive for the American Red Cross as a member of the Brockton High School student Senate or representing the Azure Building to the Brockton School Commitee for three years I have always felt that I should help someone out or give something back. This has permeated my entire life and I have always seen myself as the "go to guy" when asked to help a cause or lend a hand.
In 1996 when I was invited to join the Brockton Rotary Club by my original sponsor Elaine Reiser, the former director of BAMSI's Helpline, she told me that you could never say "no" to a request to help from another Rotarian. Rotary International's motto of "Service Above Self" has been a part of my entire life long before I ever joined Rotary. This mantra led me to become Treasurer, Vice-President and eventually the President of the Rotary Club of Brockton. It then led me to be an Assistant Governor for Our Rotary District 7950.

On my website www.ElectMarkLinde.com you will see my "Commitment to Community" and all the many things I have done for the past 35 years as a volunteer. There hasn't been a cause or organization I haven't helped. It seems strange at this point to ask people to actually help me in my race to be YOUR new State Representative from the 11th Plymouth District. I am asking you to help me, to support me and to please vote for me in order for me to serve you.
The race for this seat has a few weeks to go. THURSDAY September 6th is primary day in Massachusetts not on the usual Tuesday. Please go to the polls in Easton and Brockton and vote Mark Linde. I have always done my best to be "of service."I have always been there for many people and many causes.

As an educator and a part time professor at Massasoit Community College I teach people to communicate, understand the media and produce television. As the General Manager of Brockton Community Access I help people communicate their message in their own words to our entire community. As an elected School Committee member for the committee I represent the students and the parents of Brockton, Easton and our other seven communities. As a lifetime volunteer to the many causes I help I am given the energy to "give something back."
It is my hope that you will see all of this and choose to give your support to someone that truly cares. Please go to my website at www.ElectMarkLinde.com and watch the debates that I have participated in, compare me to my challengers and listen to me talk about my aspirations of affordable public education for all at the local level and a local district office for you to visit right here in the district to serve you. I thank you for your time, and your enthusiasm as I go out and talk with you personally, and your own hopes and concerns for our 11th Plymouth District. Please be assured that I will always be there to help you and already have. It would be my honor and pleasure to serve you. I hope you will give me the chance.
