Dear GATRA
I’m a
frequent rider of the system and I rely on the system a lot of times as It gets
me places from Norton to Downtown Taunton and Raynham and Mansfield and
Attleboro and I know the bus routes and I know it all and what you are want to
consider in the future, either right now or in the future is how about a GATRA
route that runs from Downtown Norton around the Area of Wheaton College that
will cut through the Town of Easton and extending the route into Brockton as It
would be wonders for those people of Norton and Easton who could use this
transit bus service more often as it will serve the Residents of Red Mill
Crossing in Norton, and also will provide a Bus Stop for those people who work
at Bernie and Phyl’s Furniture Headquarters in the Town of Norton and also
serve the Residents of Norton Glen on the eastern part of the town and maybe
extending the Bus Route along 123 to Easton where you can put a bus stop at Five
Corners in Easton and put a bus stop at Shaw’s Plaza in Easton and Put a bus
Stop on the Corner of 123 and 138 (Depot Street and Washington Street) and also
put another bus stop on the Intersection of Belmont and Washington Street
(123-138) in Easton and also maybe put a bus stop in front of Stonehill College
in Easton and Maybe in Conjuction with Brockton Area Transit, maybe you can
share the route 123 with the BAT Bus #3 that runs from the VA Hospital to
Downtown Brockton at the BAT Intermodal Center, maybe this bus route could
serve the Towns of Norton, Easton, and Brockton a positive impact and the more
riders you will use the bus lines, the more success this route is going to be
and it is going to be called the 123 Express from Norton to Brockton and also
how about a bus line that runs from the Mansfield MBTA station to Patriot Place
in Foxboro and the bus stops that you could put on your bus line from the
Mansfield “T” station and maybe put a bus stop on the intersection of 106 (Chauncy
Street) and Copeland Drive n Mansfield and maybe another bus stop on the
Intersection of 106 and 140 in Mansfield
and the bus stop can go right by the hotel row in the Foxboro/Mansfield secton
of 140 and put another bus stop for Foxboro Plaza and putting another bus stop
in Downtown Foxboro and another stop in Front of Stop and Shop in Foxboro and
finally putting a GATRA bus stop at Patriot Place so the people of Mansfield
and Foxboro could use the GATRA Bus More often along with Norton and Easton and
Brockton who could rely on this bus service more often and also how about the
106 Express, as you could have a bus route from the Mansfield MBTA station and
extending to the intersection of East Street (106) and Franklin Street around
Cousins Pizza and putting a bus stop around Eastman Street for the people who
work at the industrial area of 106 and having the 106 Express Shuttle end at
the Hannafords Plaza/Target plaza in Easton where the 123 Express Shuttle will
meet. So I want you to look at this letter that i’m writing and thinking of
putting these routes into consideration.
Sincerely,
Mr. Peter J. Wiggins
