Local Representatives, Senator and Tax Increases
Stand up to your elected officials and demand accountability in writing.
Here we go again with the people who are supposed to protect us going after more of your money. I am speaking of the people elected to represent us on BACON HILL and the new tax proposals unveiled yesterday including the cowardly Gasoline tax grab, which you really need to understand before they vote for this.
None of these taxes are pro growth, pro working person and not one word about reforming the sloppy and wasteful spending they cling to.
We have a spending problem and they caused the problem.

This gas tax part of the plan calls for a "small" increase of 3 cents per gallon, which many people might not think is not too bad, but it is highway robbery at its finest and the cowards on BACON HILL have done two other things. The first thing is this tax increase will be tied to inflation and will go up everytime inflation does, which for the purpos of this discussion is annually. The second thing they did, and here is how the word COWARD comes in, is that these taxes will not go into effect until 2015, when the RATS who voted for this money grab have enough time and distance between the ripoff and their cowardly behinds.
Now is the time to go after them. Write your local Representative and tell them not to vote for this ripoff. Tell them how you feel and do not let them respond with a telephone call. Make them reply in writing. Get them on record. They do not like to do that (by design).

When I wrote my Representative Claire Cronin about he not voting on an ammendment that would benefit EBT reform, she left me a voice mail with some lame excuse. I will not accept that and neither should you. Put them on record and tell them you are doing so. I have yet to receive any written response from Ms. Cronin.
Remember, these people are supposed to work for you. Not the Governor, not the state, but you and if they are not doing what you wany, get in their faces and tell them. The truth is these people are afraid of you. They never want you to know that but they are and many are cowards in the truest form.
The time to make these people accountable to you is now. Put it to them and remind them who they work for.
