Deemed one of the best albums in independent music to come out in the past few years, I decided that it was necesary to take another listen to this gem of an album. The pop punk and noisey style of Bloc Party and it's lyricist Kele Okereke offer a different sound to be seen in the younger bands of this generation. Not to mention drummer Matt Tong can play really really fast. Often similiar in sound of great bands Radiohead and Sonic Youth, this album is a fantastic premier LP from this young British group.
