I am writing this to inform the taxpayers of Easton that there is someone that you might think is working for you on “BACON HILL” but in reality is a shill for the House Speaker and whose only interest at this time appears to be perpetuating her new career. I introduce you to Claire “Speaker’s Pet” Cronin.
Ms. Cronin is new to the gang at “Bacon Hill” but she is settling in quite nicely and she is learning the ropes at our expense.
In just a few short months she has voted to kill an amendment that would go a long way on cracking down on EBT and welfare abuses among other things that working people and parents should be aware of.
And get this: Just last night, she voted to rule the Diehl tax amnesty plan out of order and a GOP sponsored bill that would have paid for transportation funding WITHOUT A TAX INCREASE and the “Speaker’s Pet” refused to even consider this. She also voted for an increase of the gasoline tax and the “increases for life” provision as well as to increase the cigarette tax and on another grand gesture, voted to keep what the MBTA pays out in pensions away from the "prying eyes" of the public.
So much for the hollow promises of representing the taxpayers and so much for transparency with our money. It is more taxes she and the gang are after. It’s more like taking more from the “makers” to give to the “takers” if you will.
As a taxpayer, you should be outraged that this individual seems to have the House Speaker’s best interest in mind and not yours.

Keep demanding. So far, she has not provided written answers to my emails and I am extending an invitation for Representative Cronin to appear on my television program to discuss her voting record.
