Vote Carol Nestler for Board of Selectman

This is a very important time in the town of Easton as two seats for the Board of Selectmen are up for election with four candidates. All four of these candidates have proven to many people including myself the hard work, dedication and leadership they would bring to this position.  It is a hard decision to make but one that needs to be made none the less.

At this time I am writing in support of Carol Nestler, who has shown time and again that she has the competence, compassion and leadership the town of Easton needs on the Board of Selectman.  I have personally worked with Mrs. Nestler for close to four years on the Finance Committee.  As the former chair of this committee, when it was time for me to step down as chair (as I strongly believe there should not be one chair on ANY Board or Committee for an overly long period of time) I knew the most obvious choice for the next chair was Carol Nestler and my committee members agreed unanimously. 

Carol has worked tirelessly on the Finance Committee to make sure the hard questions are asked even in the most obvious of situations. She sees things from all angles and because of this on many occasions the town of Easton obtained the knowledge it needed to vote on budgets and warrant articles with ALL the information disclosed to them, not just what other departments, boards and committees WANT you to see and question.  Carol has helped put the responsibility back on the town to fully explain their budgets and requests, this is not a popular thing to do as it creates more work for others, but it is the right thing to do!
