Brockton Boys & Girls Club to Celebrate Youth Service Day

On Saturday, April 21, the Boys & Girls Club of Brockton will celebrate their 2nd Annual Global Youth Service Day event. This year’s event is sponsored by Crescent Credit Union.

In partnership with the Arnone Elementary School and in support of the city-wide Keep Brockton Beautiful Day, the Club will be a hub of service activities. Everyone in the community is invited to participate. Many service activities are planned to enhance the lives of children in need, Armed Forces troops, and our surrounding neighborhoods. The Easton 99 Restaurant will provide lunch and, for those looking for some additional exercise, Coaching for Change teen leaders, a.k.a. “Game Changers” will facilitate fitness activities.

Last year, 219 youths and adults participated in the event. This year, we hope to have as many people join us in our goal to better our community.
