Good Samaritans Among Honorees at Easton Lions Recognition Night

The event, slated for next Wednesday, will honor a slew of Easton residents.

The three men who helpedwill be recognized for their heroism next week.

Nathan Everett, Kenneth Bowman and Michael McGowan - the three good samaritans who rescued Easton resident Brian Edlund in February - will headline the Easton Lions 2012 Recognition Awards next Wednesday, April 25 at the Chateau in Norton.

Everett, Bowman and McGowan will receive the "Heroism Award." It is one of 12 awards being handed out during the evening in an event that has become a tradition for over 40 years.

The night’s events include: Cocktail Hour from 6-7 p.m. – includes cash bar and cheese/crackers (OA Jazz Bank will be playing during this hour). Dinner at 7 p.m. – includes garden salad, bread/butter, baked stuffed shrimp and steak tips w/ roasted potatoes and green beans, dessert – ice cream roll cake with hot fudge and tea/coffee. The awards ceremony immediately following dinner.
