Rep. Creedon Won't Seek Relection

According to a report by the State News, State Rep. Geraldine Creedon has decided not to seek re-election.

State Representative Geraldine Creedon (D-Brockton), who represents four precincts in Easton, has decided to not to seek re-election, according to report in the State News Service.

“I’m not running again. It’s just time and that’s it. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and loved almost every minute of it. But it’s time to go,” the 66-year-old Creedon said. She was elected in a special election in 1995, when she ran uncontested. A Creedon family has represented Brockton at the State House since 1968. Geraldine Creedon served with her husband, Robert, for a decade.

Creedon told the State News Service that health reasons played a factor,  but declined to elaborate.
