Stop Breed Discrimination.

In today's society people are too quick to point the finger and judge thy neighbor. Judgement for humans based on height, weight, religion, income, race and a million other things. Dogs get the same rap, we see that less black dogs are adopted out, less older dogs, adopted out and MORE Pit bulls coming in.

People love to point the finger at the Pit Bull and not the owner. The dog is bred to fight and its a lock jaw killer. I say this to those that believe this coverall judgmental and ignorant statement. YOU ARE WRONG.

The breed was chosen as a fighting dog because of its strength and willingness to please the owner. The dog does not have a locking jaw and the dog will not fight to the death. The dog however is a dog. Just like any animal large or small it needs to be trained.

All to often though people have bought into the breed discrimination and these poor dogs are judged based on their looks alone. Imagine walking near your house and an officer approaches, you look and keep on about your business, that is what fifty did.. Well, because of his breed, he was shot twice. Hit in the front and back legs. The legs could not be saved and both had to be amputated. This dog did not charge the officer, did not bark, did not growl. DID NOT PAY ANY MIND TO HIM BUT HE WAS SHOT POINT BLANK.

Please read about fifty and his struggles and his smile shining through to find happiness and educate on this breeds amazing tolerance for the ill willed. The breed that is looking past the pain and moving on to see love in the future.
