On Saturday June 16th the Oliver Ames World Challenge will be hosting a carwash at the Immacualte Conception Church on Main Street, Easton from 9AM-2. Proceeds will be used to fund the groups July 2013 trip to Ecuador. This high school organization will embark on an expedition to challenge the students skills as leaders as well as giving them the rewarding experience of a week of community service. The students will be lead by Ms. Kerri Murphy, Oliver Ames math teacher.

Why Go?:
The Easton Lions Grange Charitable Thrift Shop is open every Wednesday from 10-2 and Saturdays from 9 to 3. We are located at the intersection of Rt.138 & Elm St, next to the Union Villa. Your donations are tax deductible.
New used inventory coming in all the time. We are loaded for bear. Dining sets, end tables, couches, chairs, patio sets, glassware, prints, paintings, tools, collectibles, jewelry, nick-knacks, books, toys, bikes, records, clothing, baby things, household items, and an endless count of usable items by the many hundreds. Everything is priced to move and everyone can dicker. No reasonable offers refused.

Why Go?:
Area vendors will be selling the freshest foods at a new location.
Easton Farmers Market starts this Saturday 10-2 and then Tuesdays 2-6. It is now located at the old "S" curve on Depot St just North of the Five Corners.

Where/When?: Children's Museum in Easton/ 9 a.m. Sunday
Why Go?:
Start Father’s Day off on the right foot and participate in the Children’s Museum in Easton’s 18th Annual Road Race and Fun Walk! This family event will be held on Sunday June 17, 2012, at 9:00 AM.
This annual five-mile road race and two-mile “Fun Walk” benefits the educational programs and exhibits of the Children’s Museum in Easton. In addition to a post-race party, raffles, and awards, the museum is also giving away t-shirts to the first 300 pre-entrants, as well as cash prizes for the top runners! $100, $50, and $25 in cash will be given to the top three male and female runners. Break the course record of 27 minutes and 48 seconds and take home an additional $100! Also special runner services will be provided! Bring the whole family as the museum offers childcare for pre-entrants and activities for the children of competitors and volunteers. The race attracted almost 500 entrants from communities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts last year and is a great event to be part of!
Sign up online at www.fathersdayroadrace.com or print out an application to mail in or drop off at the museum. Sign up early to save! The cost is $20 before the event, either online or by mail/drop off or $25 the day of the race. The “Fun Walk” is $5. Registration begins at 8:00 am.
