• Western Mass. residents urge Healey to intervene in Eversource plan (atholdailynews.com) — Erving is one of several Western Mass towns where Eversource plans major tree removal along power line corridors, prompting residents to ask Gov. Maura Healey to step in. A regional advocacy group argues the project would clear hundreds of acres, including sensitive habitats, and wants more selective cutting. Eversource says the work is needed for reliability and will balance environmental concerns.
