3 Indicted For Murder In 2022 Falmouth Stabbing

Douglas Rose was stabbed to death on Sept. 22, 2022, in East Falmouth. On Friday, three people were indicted on murder charges.

FALMOUTH, MA — Three people were indicted on murder charges in the stabbing death of 41-year-old Douglas Rose in East Falmouth.

Charee Rainey, 41, of Brighton, Kimberly McCarthy, 52, of Falmouth and Tishaun Miller, 42, of East Bridgewater, were indicted on charges of murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, breaking and entering, kidnapping, and conspiracy, the Cape Cod Times reported this week.

Local police responded to a home on Davisville Road in Falmouth after receiving a report of a disturbance around 6:25 p.m. on Sept. 22. There, they found Rose bleeding from apparent stab wounds, a statement from the DA's office said.

"Evidence suggested the dispute resulting in Mr. Rose’s death involved narcotics and $600 dollars," the DA's Office said.

Rose was given medical attention on the scene, and was also transported to Falmouth Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
