Altercation at Hotel Sends Two to Hospital
"Preliminary investigation indicates that a man entered a motel room without invitation and held the occupants against their will."

From the Falmouth Police Department:
On Feb. 1, the Falmouth Police responded to the Great Bay Motel for the report of a disturbance.
Upon arrival on scene, officers report locating two men that had been injured due to an altercation.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a man entered a motel room without invitation and held the occupants against their will. He eventually left, but returned a short time later where he brandished a knife when he was confronted by the male occupant of the room.
The male occupant then armed himself with a piece of wood strapping in self-defense.

As a result, the male occupant suffered stab wounds to the head and face. The assailant was struck with the wood strapping and also suffered significant injuries.
Both men were transported to Falmouth Hospital by Falmouth Fire and Rescue Department. The assailant was subsequently transported to a Boston area hospital via Medflight. No identities are being released at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
