BEWARE of 'Friends of Falmouth Wind'
This group advocates against the Community's wishes. Board of Selectmen take notice!
Earlier today the ‘Friends of Falmouth Wind’ published a piece misrepresenting current research concerning low frequency and infrasound noise liturature.
More interestingly, I’ve later found that the ‘Friends of Falmouth Wind’ have published a petition encouraging the Public to urge Falmouth Selectmen to continue turbine operations and to appeal the Appelllate Court ruling.
Quite frankly, I’m baffling that anyone (and I mean anyone) would encourage a violation of a Community’s Bylaw. After all, bylaws are adopted through the will of the community and the recent court ruling upheld that will of our community. Much to the dismay of misguided Town Hall desires.

It goes without saying the Selectmen could appeal to the MSJC. But given facts (and the mounting taxpayer costs) surrounding the case, what public interest is served but that to expend more public moneys against the will of the community (the Bylaw)? State Appellate Court rulings are upheld by the MSJC 97% of the time.
Besides poor odds, I pray those interested in the vitality and future of Falmouth will see this petition for what it is. An action to further divide the community and to drain it’s resources.
