Bridges by EPOCH at Mashpee to host 'Understanding the Different Forms of Dementia'
On Tuesday, May 5 at 2:30 p.m., Bridges by EPOCH at Mashpee will host the presentation, "Understanding the Different Forms of Dementia."
On Tuesday, May 5 at 2:30 p.m., Bridges by EPOCH at Mashpee will host the presentation, “Understanding the Different Forms of Dementia,” at Christ the King Parish, 3 Job’s Fishing Rd. Attendees will discuss the differences between the various forms of dementia – from Alzheimer’s disease to Lewy body dementia and vascular dementia. The presentation will be led by Bridges by EPOCH Memory Care Director Alicia Seaver, a memory impairment specialist certified by the National Institute on Aging and Teepa Snow.
This event is part of Bridges by EPOCH at Mashpee’s ongoing educational series on memory care. All presentations will be held at Christ the King Parish on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 2:30 p.m. Presentations are free and open to the public but space is limited. The memory care assisted living community Bridges by EPOCH at Mashpee, located at 462 Old Barnstable Rd., will open in summer 2015 and include 54 apartments.
