Brockton Teen Killed In Roll-Over Crash On Cape

WAREHAM, MA — A Brockton man was killed after his car crashed and rolled over into the woods on Interstate 495, according to State Police. Police identified the victim as Ajani Mitchell, 19.

Just after 10 p.m. Monday, state troopers were called to I-495 northbound in Wareham and found a 2020 Nissan Rouge rolled over with Mitchell trapped inside. According to the preliminary investigation, the car veered off the highway and rolled into the woods. No other vehicles were involed in the crash.

Mitchell was rushed to Tobey Hospital but succumbed to his injuries there.

State Police said what caused the car to veer off the road is still under investigation.
