Falmouth Zoning Board of Appeals is in the process of reviewing Wind Turbine Special Permit 240 -166 for two illegally built commercial wind turbines
Mary L. (Pat) Flynn of Falmouth, the representative from the Barnstable County Board of County Commissioners, voted in favor of the new wind turbine regulations for the Cape Cod Commision . Mary Pat Flynn is also a member of the Falmouth Select Board.
The new CCC regulations establishes for all turbines of 660 kilowatt (KW) capacity or greater a noise setback of 10 times the diameter of the turbine blades, as measured from the base to the nearest receptor -- defined as any occupied residential or commercial property -- or residentially zoned parcel.

The Cape Cod Commision recommendation puts commercial wind turbines at a setback between 2600 and 3000 feet from residential homes.
The Falmouth wind turbines,1.65 megawatts each, are three times the size of the 660 kilowatt model used by the Cape Cod Commision.
The determination by the Cape Cod Commision to introduce larger setbacks of up to 3000 feet in the model bylaw was based partly on the Vestas Health and Saftey instructions or what are called quality health and environmental policy. The setbacks in the instructions speak of minimum set backs of 1650 feet and further.

The public has never seen the proper Vestas engineering standards, specifications and mechanics used to install the two town owned wind turbines.
We do know the Town of Falmouth hid information about the 110 decibels of noise from the turbines that led to the health and saftey issues around the turbines.

The Falmouth wind installations go against Truth, Justice, and the American Way of Life
Vestas CEO Ditlev Engel has been with the company since 2005. He was replaced as CEO in 2013.
Vestas CEO Engel Ditlev in 2011 wrote a letter to Karen Ellemann about low frequency noise: “low frequency noise from wind turbines” The simple answer is that it is not technically possible to stop the noise.
“Personal safety is always our top priority – not only because our employees are entitled to it, but also because our customers increasingly demand documentation that we actually have top of-the range safety”. - Ditlev Engel, CEO
IN RESEARCH SUPPORTED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY, DR NEIL KELLEY AND HIS COLLEAGUES IN 1987 PREVIOUSLY IDENTIFIED IMPULSIVE LOW FREQUENCY NOISE, INFRASOUND AND VIBRATION FROM WIND ENERGY PROJECTS AS PRODUCING ‘ANNOYANCE’ WITHIN NEIGHBORS’ HOMES.
The Massachusetts Technologhy Colaborative aka the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center deleted the noise warnngs of two distinct types of noise “regulatory” measured in decibels and “human annoyance” measured in infra sound. The noise warnings were deleted to install the Falmouth Wind I turbine.
Vestas wind company with each wind turbine provides an installation guide to install its wind turbines.
General Electric a domestic wind turbine company refused to build a wind turbine in Falmouth due to set back issues !
Everyone invloved in the Falmouth Vestas wind turbine project was aware these turbines were twice as loud as the General Electric wind turbines
