Art at the Farm: Come Meet the Artists on Saturday, October 3

Event Details

Tony Andrews Farm, 394 Old Meeting House Rd, Falmouth, MA, 02536

Art at the Farm is a free, community event during September and October that places art in an agricultural setting -- Tony Andrews Farm - to expand and enhance the community's experience of both and their magical combination.

Come meet the artists on Saturday, October 3, 10am - Noon (Sunday rain date).

Modeled on Art in the Orchard at Park Hill Orchard in Easthampton, MA, this is Falmouth's first such effort, with a variety of artistic styles and materials, from found metal sculpture to quilting and fabric banner to painted wooden posts and a granite and wood sculpture.

Artists include: Suzy Bergmann, Sue Clark, Sue Beardsley, Matt Inman and the collective ArtFal.7. Each work is presented with a sign that includes a description and/or artist statement. A trail map is available on site, but the art trail is uncomplicated. You will see all works if you start in the store and move through from the front to the rear of the farm.

Everyone and all ages are welcome to this free event. Art at the Farm is supported by a grant from the Falmouth Cultural Council and the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Falmouth resident Pamela Rothstein organized the exhibit and welcomes community feedback and interest by artists in future participation.
