Cape Man Arrested In Boston Police Chase: MSP
State Police said a Cape Cod man and a Dorchester man were wanted in connection to a Stoneham robbery.
BOSTON — A Cape Cod man was one of two people arrested Monday after leading officers on a chase near Interstate 93 southbound in Boston, Massachusetts State Police said.
Around 11 a.m., state troopers found and tried to stop a gray Kia Optima on the ramp from I-93 southbound to Leverett Circle in Boston. State Police said the Kia was used as a get-away car in a Stoneham robbery and a previous attempt to ram into one of the town's police officers. Inside the car were James Rogers, 39, of Mashpee, and Marquise Henry, 37, of Dorchester, State Police said.
State Police said Rogers and Henry circled Leverett Circle several times and then headed down River Dam road while driving on the wrong side of the street. State troopers called off the chase and gave a description of the car to other troopers.

A short time later, a state trooper working a detail said he saw the Kia on Nashua Street. State Police followed Rogers and Henry onto Beverly Street, a dead-end that runs behind the State Police Marine Unit headquarters.
Police said the Kia struck the curb and broke down, causing Rogers and Henry to run away. State troopers apprehended one of the men nearby. A Suffolk County Deputy Sheriff then took temporary custody of the suspect while State Police chased the second suspect on foot. Troopers found the second suspect on Harvard Place in Charlestown, a street near Rutherford Avenue.

Rogers and Henry were booked at the Medford State Police barracks and were then transferred to Stoneham police to face their previous charges stemming from the robbery. State Police said they will summon the men on additional charges related to the pursuit and attempts to evade arrest.
