Child Struck By Car in Falmouth

The 13-year-old boy had serious injuries, police said.

A boy riding a bicycle was struck by a car and seriously injured in Falmouth Wednesday night.

Police said the 13-year-old was riding in the Sand Pointe Shores Drive area at about 7:30 p.m. when he was struck by a Subaru Outback.

The boy was transported to a Rhode Island hospital.

The vehicle was driven by a 38-year-old woman from New York, police said.

The investigating into the incident is ongoing.
