Christmas Movie Being Shot In Falmouth
"The Cape House" is a feel-good holiday tale that the creator envisions being on Lifetime or Hallmark's holiday roundup.
FALMOUTH, MA — A new Christmas movie is slated to be shot on Main Street in Falmouth an undisclosed house in the Cataumet area.
Writer and director John Stimpson told the Falmouth Enterprise his film "The Cape House" is a feel-good holiday tale made for television that you would expect to see on Hallmark's "Countdown to Christmas" lineup or Lifetime's "It's a Wonderful Lifetime" holiday schedule.
Much of the movie will be shot at familiar locations including Eight Cousins bookstore and the Pickle Jar Kitchen restaurant. Sampson said the inspiration for the movie comes from his family owning a second home in Falmouth.

Stimpson of Princeton, Massachusetts is producing the film for H9 Films LLC, of Worcester. He said the movie will most likely be purchased by the Hallmark, Lifetime or Ion Television network. Actors attached to the project include Katie LeClerc, known for her role in the ABC Family series "Switched at Birth," and Brent Bailey, who was in the film "LBJ" with actor Wood Harrelson.
