The public is invited to the Falmouth Public Library for an extraordinary FREE event at 4:00 pm. Mass Audubon’s Ian Ives will present a slide show all about Owls. Why? A Great Horned Owl (nicknamed “Screechie”) was severely injured in a collision with a big truck in Falmouth. A Falmouth DNR officer took her to Cape Cod Wildlife Center where she has been treated by Veterinarian Dr. Robert Aquilar. “Screechie” has recovered and the release is back to the wild is planned for dusk on February 4th in Falmouth.
