Falmouth Boston Marathon Runners: Results, Winners

BOSTON, MA — The 2017 Boston Marathon Monday featured more than 30,000 runners and five of them are from Falmouth. Thomas Giardino, 42, was the fastest Falmouth runner with a time of 3 hours, 11 minutes and 12 seconds. Boston Marathon 2017: Top 3 Falmouth Runners

1. Thomas Giardino, 42 years old: 3:11:12
2. Gregory Stone, 58: 3:30:25
3. Susan Lelacheur, 41: 5:07:10

Overall, Kenyan Geoffrey Kirui won the men's race with a time of 2 hours, 9 minutes and 37 seconds. Fellow Kenyan Edna Kiplagat won the women's race with a time of 2 hours, 21 minutes and 53 seconds. Both were running the Boston Marathon for the first time.
