Falmouth Bullies Wind Turbine Victims Massachusetts
The Town of Falmouth After Years Of Expensive Taxpayer Losses In Court-- Resorts To Bullying Through Eminent Domain-- Article 2 A Threat

Falmouth citizens are criminally being harmed by wind turbines.
A Barnstable Superior Court judge and the Falmouth Zoning Board of Appeals twice have ruled the turbines are a nuisance.
The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center was stuck with a Vestas V-82 commercial wind turbine they couldn’t sell at auction. The agency bribed local officials with one million dollars to buy the politically embarrasing turbine.
The MassCEC three years after the sale admited extrapolations in acoustic noise tests prior to the installations that resulted in the turbine breaking state noise regulations. Recently it was found the town hid a noise warning from Vestas wind company that the turbine was twice as loud as the manufacturers specifications.
Town Meeting Members and citizens were never told about the information that would have stopped the installations altogether. The Select Board today continues to work against the interest of the citizens. The public has been denied the facts reasonably known to the state about the physical, emotional and economic harm done to humans and property, respectively, by wind turbines.
The nuisance created by construction and operation of Falmouth Wind 1 has caused significant harm and damage to heath, property rights and town finances. The turbine noise and the infrasound is described as torturous.
In 2011 the Cape Cod Commission recommends towns adhere to to a setback of 10 times the rotor diameter of the proposed turbine. The commision further request turbines include projected sound levels including both ambient and infrasound.
The Cape Cod Commision confirms two distict types of sound from commercial megawatt wind turbines. The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center dropped the reference to two distinct types of noise for the Falmouth wind study. Mattapoisett prior to the Falmouth wind studies dropped plans to install commercial wind turbines over residents concerns over two distinct types of noise. They call this lying by omission.
As you can see noise was a major problem for installing Falmouth Wind 1. Three times noise issues were hidden. The original acoustic tests, omitting the reference to two distinct types of noise and hiding the Vestas wind company noise warning letter from the public.
Three times are not “mistakes.” The omitted and hidden information constituted a clear abuse of the public trust, showing a blatant disregard for the health and welfare of the public.
This was not a human experiment it is assault and battery against up to 200 residental home owners in the wind zone.
The Falmouth Select Board on October 5, 2015 unanimously voted to bully and scare the wind turbine victims by endorsing Article 2 to be presented to Town Meeting on November 10, 2015. Article 2 is deliberately poorly written to confuse Town Meeting Members.
