Falmouth Businessman Found Dead: Report

FALMOUTH, MA — The owner of Clover Paving Company in Falmouth was found dead at his home on Old Campus Drive Thursday, according to police.

Police told the Falmouth Enterprise they arrived at the home of Daren McDonald, 52, around 7:10 a.m. after his family found him dead.

Police said McDonald's death didn't appear suspicious, but they'll know more after the autopsy. McDonald leaves behind a wife and children. The Falmouth Enterprise reported McDonald was facing witness intimidation charges at the time of his dead. In March, he pleaded not guilty when prosecutors said he misled police officers about the whereabouts of his son. His son was an assault suspect at a house party last August.
